admo
Cally is so gone after this season. Dont worry about the money, or start calculating. The program generated tons of cash for the university for twenty something straight years. Great money too. Dude is gone. Quote Link to comment
skersOVRsc
Hopefully, Cosgrunt gets fired before the end of the season. The board was actuning up - topic got posted twice and no wordsd inside don't be a jackass...the people with money have told the proper sources that the money is there for a buyout...of both contracts... just let it burn...burn baby burn... Thats esentially what Cook said in his interview with the LJS. (Cook Pavilion) At the very least Bill is gone and probably Steve too. I'm sure the big donnors can come up with Bill's salary for the next 5 years. Quote Link to comment
Wharf Rat
I hope you guys are right in the fact the money is there to buy out both HCBC and ADSP. Getting rid of one without the other would be a major mistake. Quote Link to comment

Getting rid of one without the other would be a major mistake. and they better think about buying a new AD, coaches and staff because I wonder if anyone would want the program at this point. I also wonder why the current recruiting class would come in with the program tanking and a major "reorganization." Quote Link to comment
RootForNU
Honestly I will be surprised if BC remains head coach after today. If SP has any chance of saving his job he will fire him tomorrow, along with KG, and let some of the other assistants finish the season then look for a new head coach at the end of the year. If he doesn't there is no doubt in my mind that both will be gone at the endo of the year, regardless of any turn around which at this point is like expecting to win the lottery after seeing what happened today. Foppa
I wish I were rich. I almost feel bad for the big-money boosters, there shouldn't be nearly as much money to be needed for changes, but thanks to Perlman and Pedersen, they ran to the bank when the going was good. These extentions will rank as one of the worst, most monumental mistakes that the University of Nebraska has ever made regarding athletics. Quote Link to comment
FireSteveP
We don't need the big-money boosters - 1 million fans can say alot see http://members.cox.net/huskers_against_pederson/ Quote Link to comment

Now, you tell 10 fans, and they'll tell 10 fans, and by the next game SteveP ( :asshat ) will be gone!! Quote Link to comment
vwaldoguy
Does anyone really know how MUCH it would take to buy them out? Quote Link to comment
motorboatjonesNU
Well... $750,000 per year through 2011. Probably around $3 mil. just for BC. I thought it might be larger at the start of this thread - I was thinking aroun $10 mil. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
It is going to be pretty hard to justify keeping anyone when it is clear that this team has flat out quit. Quote Link to comment
