walksalone
Don't get me wrong, i'm happy as hell that Pedey's gone, but, i'm still troubled... Callahan is still our coach, and when I woke up today, I saw the Pedey firing story on yahoo, and this part troubled me... "Callahan's job is apparently safe for now. Chancellor Harvey Perlman said the next athletic director would decide the fate of the football staff." I'm not convinced he'll be gone before saturday, but if he is, X-mas will have come early for me. That statement leads me to believe, that we'll be stuck with him for the rest of the season. I'm thinking he'd only be gone early if we lose the rest of the games this year, as badly as the past two. Quote Link to comment
HuskerKing130
Dude, Callahans gone. NU wouldn't have fired Pud if they intended to keep Callahan. Quote Link to comment

sarge87
Dude, Callahans gone. NU wouldn't have fired Pud if they intended to keep Callahan. I know Callahan's gone (thankfully), it's just a question of when... Depends on how they structured his contract. Knowing Pud, he probably put in a "No Buyout" clause in it. Quote Link to comment
BLKSHIRTD
the guy has had his time to bring in the players that he wanted but yet some of the players that have the most talent sit on sidelines wondering what the hell is going on and did i make the right decision to come here The guy simply needs to go back to the nfl where he belongs well.......... if theyer crazy enough to want him back Quote Link to comment
CornHunka
You are correct, BC is the head coach, Cos is still the DC. The same guys who put in the game plan against Okie State and Mizzou are prepping the team for A&M. Firing Stevie Boy is a step in the right direction, but it doesn't make a damn bit of difference what happens on Saturday. Quote Link to comment
CoachKevin
I am not positive Callahan will go this year. I know Cosgrove is gone at seasons end. Mostly this has to do with the money to buy out his contract. If they get the money to buy him out, he will be gone. If not it will be one more year to prove himself. Quote Link to comment
eoltmer
In due time people, let this debacle play out and we will seen soon enough. GL to the team this week with all the fiasco going and I hope we win. Quote Link to comment
