Dundermifflinite
Can we make a bowl game by going 6-6. I wasn't sure if Nevada was I-AA or not, and even if their not, are we invited as a 6-6 team.... and if so...is it to Boise? Quote Link to comment
Dundermifflinite
replying to my own topic, let's assume that Bill Callahan is gone, and we have an interim coach in place with a head coaching search complete or in the final phases. Quote Link to comment
beamout2000
Nevada is a 1-A, but it doesn't matter because a 1-AA win would count towards a bowl too. Only if it were the Alamo Bowl, I could trade my Big 12 Championship tickets, but other than that no. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNCo
I'd still go if I could... Still my Huskers. If I could get to where they were playing, I would. Quote Link to comment

seed60
Car Care bowl yeah I'd be happy if we could do that The only reason I said that is because it's in Charlotte. But I think it's only Big East and ACC teams Quote Link to comment
Spiderman
Assuming Callahan's gone, yeah--it'd be exciting to see what happens with a new coach, or to see the interim coach pull together a staff like Pellini did after Solich was canned. Quote Link to comment

I would go if it was a warm weather game!! I would not go to Boise. Quote Link to comment
Jazzkevin
If the Mountain West or (more likely) WAC doesn't have a team to fill a slot there is always the New Mexico Bowl. CBS Sportsline a couple of weeks ago picked Colorado to take the WAC's spot in that game, but now I feel it's more likely Nebraska if an opening and 6 wins. I'd take the short drive there to watch them play. Albuquerque is much better than whatever city hosts the Independence Bowl in my opinion. Quote Link to comment

We will be going to the Toilet Bowl regardless of our record Quote Link to comment
