Official now. A&M will buyout his contract. Head coaching search already underway, Tubberville listed as #1 target. Probably a longshot, but he's a former A&M assistant, and has never had the best relationship with the Auburn boosters.

Pretty much what everyone has already known for weeks, but its "official" now.

TBR has to take notice.....lets pray our administration and athletic department dont follow suit as callahan and make another bad decision by pro-longing what is inevitable...

I imagine TO is regretting saying that he would wait til the end of the season to evaluate the coaches...but he is a man of his word, and being a man of his word will probably come to hurt us in the short term recruiting time span, but it will only go to help later on when Nebraska is looked at as a place that isn't wishy washy and when someone says something here, they mean it.

We have to suffer the short term...but be encouraged by the long term effect.

You definitely sound like a broken record with that double post

I wished Osborne would fire Callahan now or at least make things "official" by announcing that Callahan and Co would not be retained following the Colorado game just to make all this insanity stop. However, Osborne said he will wait till after the season. He's a man of his word and you can't fault a man who sticks by his word.
