np_husker
If we beat CU, which I now think will happen, does Osborne let Callahan coach or name some interim? Quote Link to comment
maryland husker
It won't be Callahan, if he is not going to be here next year. They can't afford the delay that even a minor bowl would put on the search for a replacement. I fully expect a press conference within 3 days of the CU game to announce the future of our program - win or lose Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
can him and let Watson coach the team, but that is only my opinion, not likely what Tom would do. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Well, technically the season *is* over after the CU game, so it needs to be done immediately after the CU game regardless of a bowl game. A bowl is <postseason>, IMHO. Quote Link to comment
np_husker
I guess I'm needing some reassurance because I have a really bad feeling that Callahan won't be fired. I'm thrilled we won today, especially for the seniors, but I'm surprised by the number of people on this board and others who seem to think Callahan deserves another season based on this game and possibly the next. I'm looking at the long term care of the progam and it does not include Callahan in my mind. Quote Link to comment
nepolo7
agreed I think the decision is made after CU Quote Link to comment
S.C.HUSKER
I dunno but if BC is fired wouldnt be great if TO stepped in and coached the bowl game if we make it ti 1.. Quote Link to comment

The non-acceptance of Husker Tradition, the dis-mantleing of the walk on program combined with the snubbing of TO has sealed BC's fate. Sorry Cally losing a super bowl doesn't buy much in Lincoln, NE. Just do the manly thing and say, "Good-bye." Thisw guy and probably most of his staff are gone and good ridence. ...T_O_B Quote Link to comment
