Why the Huskers play the game

Recommended Posts

According to Huskers.com:

Nebraska's 15 Academic All-Big 12 selections were the third-most among conference schools and NU's 12 first-team selections were the second-highest total in the league.

To qualify student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or during the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of his team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.

What is pre-social science?

Just curious.

I would think that it is like Pre-Med degree. He is going for a Masters or Doctorate eventually. Social Science could be a 2nd major as well, possibly. I would think if this was the case, he has psychology as his 1st major.

Man, Zoogies, my brain hurts from just thinking about it!!!

I noticed almost all of the guys named on the Big 12 Academic 1st and 2nd teams had hometowns located in the Midwest...says a lot about the Midwest's educational system...along with their sense of values.

Only 2 on three on either team from CA and 1 from FL??? I thought that's where ALL the best "student athlete" recruits came from <_<

:yeah
