Fanatic
saw this on another board... "Nebraska is still evaluating about 50 players for its 2005 recruiting class, and has somewhere between four and eight scholarships left to offer," Elmassian said. The Huskers have picked up verbal commitments from 20 players. "I would say we'll have (the 2005 class) wrapped up before Christmas," he said. "In January, we'll go looking for (high school) juniors." any thoughts on this? Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt
Sounds about right, based on the 2005 Class Eric the Red has documented. And its good to hear they plan to have most of it wrapped up before xmas, compared to last year when they hadnt even started! But of course they will still maintain contact with these kids on regular basis until that all important National Letter of Intent day. Thanks for sharing Fanatic. Quote Link to comment

Coaches must continue to recruit the so call commit right up until the put the pads on,. Quote Link to comment
