REDSTEEL
He was just interviewed and talked about being excited about the possiblity of winning the Heisman like Tommie Frazier and Danny Wuerffel. That would make Frazier the second Nebraska quarterback that I was surprised to learn that won the Heisman. (first being Scott Frost) Quote Link to comment

Tommie should have won it....EVERYONE knows it too! It is funny how someone who is so excited with the possibility of winning, has no clue who won the trophy in the past. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Ya gotta like revisionist history! Not sure how much a chance we had but I remember Nebraska recruited Tebow. Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Kinda off topic but... Did anyone else here June Jones (Hawai'i Coach) say Tebow couldn't run his system? I laughed. Ok back to topic... Better start making room in the trophy case... Quote Link to comment

I think June is just kind of pissed because they don't get the respect that he thinks they deserve. Quote Link to comment

Can you imagine what he could do, in say a Texas Tech or an Arkansas run offense today? Quote Link to comment

papersun87
Dang, every so often I go find a Tommie Frazier highlight reel on YouTube and I'm still just in awe. How Eddie George EVER beat him out for the Heisman, I won't understand. EDIT: And Tebow is a pretty darned good quarterback himself. I hope he wins the Heisman. Quote Link to comment
Husker Deb
No offense to our three guys who have won it, but it just goes to show ya what people remember. They remember the GREAT players regardless of whether they won it or not. Tommie was THE MAN! Quote Link to comment
