Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
That is pretty cool. '97 Cornhuskers beat the '00 Sooners 51-7!!! :spooners Quote Link to comment

Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Good gosh..playing this year's Nebraska team against ANYONE is pretty amusing... Oh man I know, I played this years KSU team... the score was 78-75! Edit: Also, I'm sure they started at '96 because they knew the '95 Huskers would pwn everybody Quote Link to comment
sCrUmptious!
I enjoyed this one: 2001 Colorado Buffaloes: 73 2007 Nebraska Cornhuskers: 30 It would have been worse, but CU's kicker missed 5 extra points (WTF??). Actually, looking at the so-called box score from this "game", it's got me questioning the research they did to put this together. The kicker that they've got playing for Colorado didn't attempt a kick until 2002 (though he was horrific, at least they got that right). CU's most commonly used running back from that year (Cortlen Johnson) touched the ball a grand total of 3 times during the entire game, and... uh, oh yeah, there were a combined 63 first downs during the game. That seems more than a touch far fetched. As a point of reference, this year's CU/NU defensive clinic featured 54 first downs... could we really have squeezed 9 more first downs out of a game? Don't worry about that - though no doubt extensive, this is a very inaccurate simulation. Just take it for what it's worth, a light laugh. I do notice that the games are stat-heavy, though. HuskerRow
well 1997 Nebraska put 2007 Nebraska to shame... who would have thought? I did notice that the 2007 Huskers in the simulator does have a terrible rushing defense like they did this year (Ahman Green had TD rushes of 45, 19, 5 , 51 , and 84 yards... with a grand total of 32 carries for 453 yards) well that was fun Quote Link to comment
Oldschool
Huskers vs Falcons in Lincoln, on a fall day with light wind. 2007 Air Force Falcons - 77 2007 Nebraska Cornhuskers - 27 WOW...... Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
no way, every playbook combination I tried I got the USC '04 team beating the '97 Huskers...? Even in Lincoln Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
Good gosh..playing this year's Nebraska team against ANYONE is pretty amusing... It is nice to be able to laugh about it now....but it wasn't so funny during the season when we didn't know BC's future.... Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
I'll I have to say is that Player of the Game '03 Jammal Lord (2003 Nebraska Cornhuskers) Nebraska 2003 - 31 Nebraska 2007 - 14 Looks like this game was made before the season since Nebraska 2007 record is 0-0-0. Hell the computer even knew this Nebraska team would stink before the year. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
97 Michigan Wolverines - 34 97 Nebraska Huskers - 13 Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
97 Michigan Wolverines - 34 97 Nebraska Huskers - 13 1997 Nebraska Cornhuskers - 19 1997 Tennessee Volunteers - 54 Just played the 97 mich vs nebraska mich - 6 Nu - 10 The funny thing is that this is 2nd game that Eric Warfield has had at least 6 sack and named player of the game. Did Eric put in the stats? lol he's been made player of the game at least 6 times and the lowest sack total he's had was 4. Played 97 NU vs Texas and even though Nu lost 5 to 17 the player of the game was Eric Warfield with 8 sacks and 3 int. I blame T.O. for under utilizing this young man Quote Link to comment
