Cy the Cyclone
How dumb is this? Everyone knows Cos couldn't hold a high school football team to 12 points...let alone a DII UNO....well, maybe he could hold Cozad to 12...but not a REAL high school football team.... and *yet* they managed to somehow beat iowa state. ... just sayin' is all... We "let" you win as a courtesy gesture for the hospitality you showed us in Lincoln...it was the neighborly thing to do... Heck...all our guys even pretended they couldn't catch up with Ruud when he was taking that interception back 75 yards for a TD...ourr offense should have been nominated for an Oscar for that acting job. papersun87
I ran a second simulation with UNO's offense set to "Smashmouth," which is an A+ in rushing offense, B in passing offense, and B- in defense. Let's just say that the Football Gods were smiling on the Big Red this night. Joe Ganz was 22 of 29 for 371 yards and 5 touchdowns, each to a different receiver, Steve Octavien grabbed an interception, and Cortney Grixby returned a fumble 63 yards for a touchdown en route to a 52-21 victory. If you want details, let me know (I've got 'em). EDIT: And the Blackshirts were making plays they DEFINITELY wouldn't have made during the regular season. Quote Link to comment
AuroranHusker
Zach Miller's (#15) a beast, I always thought he'd put up big numbers against the 'skers And, FWIW, Zack Miller is a former Husker walk-on...... Quote Link to comment
Cy the Cyclone
I just ran a simulation of the 2007 Huskers vs the Stanton Viking 8-man high school football team! We creamed em!!!!! Quote Link to comment
