IS This Bad

Recommended Posts

Is it bad that i think it is funny that Sam Keller isnt getting any offers from pro teams?

Happiness at the misfortune of others? That's schadenfreude.

Apparently Keller's bad attitude reminded people a little too much of NFL busts like Cade McNown whose teammates openly hated him. That coupled with the awkward throwing motion (among other issues) probably cost him his chance. I suppose it's still possible for him to get picked up, but I think he needs to start pursuing other options such as the Arena League.

I know the Bears already picked up 2 undrafted free-agent QBs; the Jets and more than a few other teams got QBs in the draft. Anyone know of a team that might still have a spot for him?

some of you guys make me wonder... Sam may not have been the best QB, but if anything he was a victim of too much hype. He can't control that. He was a solid player who said the right things and did the right things. He took responsibility for everything that went wrong on the field including a huge list of things he never had control about and he was the most well spoken people at any press conference including the millionaire coaches.

He played for NEBRASKA

He worked hard for NEBRASKA

He came here when and did his best to help out a NEBRASKA team

He did his job--take any defense from the mid 90's and put them with last year's team and we are talking BCS if not NC.

Topics like this make me wonder about "Nebraska fan"

I'll agree with most of your post, but the second to last line. The Defense wasn't the only problem Nebraska had last year. Even if Nebraska held Missouri or Oklahoma St to 21 points less each game, Nebraska still takes a whipping from them.

How about back out here in the Valley?

Last I heard, The Cards have Matt Leinart, Kurt Warner, Tim Rattay, Tim Hasselbeck.

He might be able to crack the top 3...After Warner and Leinart both got hurt last season, they had to bring in from across town, Rattay, who played Highschool football out here and burned Nebraska while at Louisiana Tech? I believe.

Most Yards Passing: 590; Tim Rattay, Louisiana Tech, at Nebraska, Aug. 29, 1998 (68 att., 46 comp.)

Most Pass Attempts: 68; Tim Rattay, Louisiana Tech, at Nebraska, Aug. 29, 1998 (46 comp., 590 yards)

Most Pass Completions: 46; Tim Rattay, Louisiana Tech, at Nebraska, Aug. 29, 1998 (68 att., 590 yards)

I think he was out of the league and volunteering for his dad (Highschool coach) at the time.
