The huskers can't look ahead of these games and hoepfully will be more of a confidence booster even though they don't really need it. The most likely matchup on Friday will be the number 1 and 2 all time wins of active pitchers in college baseball (Dorn and Hunter Moody). Lafayette usually have decent teams and Western Illlinois might even make a regional. Quote Link to comment

Bird got the W, but Pribanic pitched 2 innings along with Freeman and Mariot each pitching one. Optiz and Mort each scored twice including Optiz's two run home-run. I wonder why Pribanic got in today, I know he hasn't been pitching that great, I wonder if he will still start on Saturday(because of a double-header), he should be rest but you never know. On another note Corriston will have arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn ligiment in his right knee. He is expected to come back before the end of the year. Quote Link to comment
