Rivals had Coffey ranked high, espn.com considered him more of a project-player. He has height and a good head on his shoulders but I'd say the athleticism still needs to be proven. That 250lbs could have come-up some since the profile was done. Not many 6'7" guys bench well, especially if they have the long arms to go with and haven't grown into their body yet. I'd be interested to know what he squats and how he is progressing in adding quality mass and strength onto a big frame.

Sorry about the double post earlier, I don't know if I necessary agree with bigger guys not benching well, 250 is really a joke for a football player at a D1 school. I benched 245 in highschool as a cross country runner.. Don't know why he couldn't hit the weights a little.. Look at Marcel Jones he is big, strong, and since cutting down on some weight this summer fast. I stopped over after class before heading back to the dorms to watch the huskers, and he is my pick for having a good year and probably a huge year next year.
