Huskerballz
OleMiss/Clemson Syndrome - "the phenomenon by which fans of historically second-tier programs delude themselves into thinking that one isolated period of greatness ... is more representative of their team's rightful place in the sport's hierarchy than its other one hundred or so years of football." CNNSI College Football Mailbag This was being discussed in Stewart Mandel's College Football mailbag today. Sounds eerily similar to something a lot of our Kansas and Missouri posters have on here. You guys should go and get checked, I don't know of any painless cures for this disease. Quote Link to comment

Side effects for both "Nebraska Fever & OleMiss/Clemson Syndrome include diarrhea of the mouth. Requires those suffering to take in lots of liquids, preferrably kool-aid. Quote Link to comment

It also causes programs with huge following to spend tons of money on facilities and invest in regaining national prominence. For most of such programs, return to greatness is inevitable.
