Street Novelist
Rivals teaser: Don't be surprised if you hear more about defensive tackle Tre Hale (6-3, 285) from La Verne (Calif.) Damien. He is somewhat a sleeper because he only played one league game as a junior since he broke his wrist and had to sit out the rest of the season. He is now back in good health and raring to go. Bosnian_Husker77
wow 5.6 as a dt.. NO.. he better be a beast on the field because the 40 time ain't cutting it Quote Link to comment
huskers1
Considering he will be running at most 10 yards to get to the ball I could care less how fast he runs the 40. I agree if accurate it shows a hint at his athleticism but a lineman's 40 has little to do with how good they will be. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
but 5.6? hell, that's walking speed! most all inside linemen are faster than that! even the water boy can move faster..... Quote Link to comment

For a lineman its all about burst and surge (short area speed), because it is not 40yds from the line of scrimmage to the man in front of you. Quote Link to comment
