Swift and Peterson were possession receivers. There is and will always be a need for possession receivers. They ran their routes to perfection, and they were always where they were supposed to be. It really matters little how fast you are or how good you can catch if you aren't where your route is supposed to take you. I'm going to say it was a combo of Swift and Peterson being that good and the others underperforming a tad bit.
