Jarred04
So I know Eli Manning has always used "Omaha" as part of his cadence, but tonight Romo was using Omaha, Pelini, and Nebraska all in one play. Collinsworth made a comment about how it used to be Lincoln, but now "everyone loves that word" (Omaha) as part of their cadence. I wonder why it is so popular? Bigger city with no team? Number of syllables? Subliminal messaging to start a franchise here? lol Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
I noticed last week Roethlisberger was using "Omaha" against the Titans. I had to rewind the DVR to make sure I heard that right. I have no idea what that's all about. I missed that tonight though. Kinda neat. Quote Link to comment
MCAT800
Typically it is a call for the offensive line. Not sure if that is the case in this situation. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Probably a way to make the Offensive Linemen hungry..thinking about steaks. Quote Link to comment
