I'm a new member and just was wondering what the dollar amount below the name is and how it corresponds to the number of posts.

Hey tflynn, welcome aboard. Huskerboard pays members 5 cents for every post they make - the number under your name isnt an exact total, rather an overall range. In your case you have 2 posts, so you have earned .10 cents, and are in the .05-.99 level (1-19 posts). When you get to the 20 post mark you will move into the next level and so on. When you get enough points you can redeem them for Husker gear.
