GoBigEd
THe College Football News just posted their Unit Rankings for Offense, and this is how they look: Overall: Nebraska #52 Quarterbacks: Nebraska #58 Running Backs: Nebraska #34 Wide Receivers: Nebraska #81 Offensive Line: Nebraska #52 I can understand some of the QB and WR rankings, since most of our have never seen the D-1 football field. But how in the world did they put our RB's at #34? What 33 other schools have a stable of backs comparable to ours? Granted, most these guys haven't played D-1 yet, but we should be higher for Ross alone! I can't wait until we prove the world wrong!!! DaveH
You act suprised by the fact that we get no love! Seriously, it probably has to do with, like you said, there are plenty of players that havne't played a down yet. Quote Link to comment
JR 5
Don't get worked up about CFN.com. Most of those guys don't know their elbows from their you-know-whats. It's just space filler until the season starts. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
IMO, if I were rating the huskers objectively (which is hard to do) I would have raised the running backs and wide receivers, lowered the quarterbacks (one guy who has taken a D-1 snap), and stayed even on the O-line. But who cares. None of these numbers means a thing come sept 3. Quote Link to comment

Pedro Guerrero
Nebraska has the most underrated RB in the country on their team. Cory Ross... According to either Athlon or Lindy's I don't remeber he isn't even in the 20 best RB in the nation. They do have him first team all Big 12 though so I don't really get what they are thinking. rawhide
positively HUA syndrome probably those hard back east media types like JD referred to. I dont think anyone could have called Cory Ross an under achiever last year especially with the new offensive scheme being adopted. Im sure the vote is still out on ZT but we shall see at Wake Forsest Quote Link to comment
