IlliniHusker
Way to go indianahusker! We lose respect for institutions when they make decisions for reasons that are "politically correct" and the general public sees the decision as just plain stupid. The NCAA's recent decision about mascots is another example. The NCAA thinks they are superior to the fans and know what's best for us. Sounds more and more like some other govt institutions that are losing the respect of most citizens. Whatever they are getting paid, is too much. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
I hope none of this crap gets enforced. Not just for Nebraska's sake, but for all of college football. It's as if they want kids to be robots out there. What's wrong with getting amped up and getting the crowd amped up? This is a game and it's supposed to be fun. As long as a player is not disrespecting an opponent intentionally, then have a ball! Quote Link to comment
dbetz23
How about all 78,000 of us do the bone cross right as the Blackshirts enter the field on the 3rd and after every sack, interception ect. So we can tell the NCAA what we really think. Quote Link to comment

bigredmaniac
What happens next? Will the players and coaches still be allowed to give eachother high fives after a play? A pat on the rear-end, or would that be considered sexual harrasment? This is B.S. Quote Link to comment

bigredmaniac
The NCAA drives me nuts sometimes! Quote Link to comment
cubhusker23
I think the rule change will be fine, until they actually enforce the rule. I can't see someone getting penalized for making a stop on 3rd down and then putting their hands in the air, but I do agree it's pretty ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
this is the biggest load of crap!!!! Quote Link to comment
kramer
??? You see that's illegal now...or is it?? Has the NCAA made an example of Nebraska and said them speciafically? Quote Link to comment
bigredmaniac
Is Nebraska the only school that does it? I don't believe they are. There are the most known for it but I've seen other schools throw it up as well. Quote Link to comment
