Street Novelist
Barcelona Beat Tenerife 4-1 Barcelona put this one away easily. Messi scored a brace and Bojan and Pedro each contributed one. Pique did not play the second half after getting a nasty knock to his knee. One thing I don't understand is why Guardiola sold Eto'o to Inter for Ibrahimovic. This guy is completely overrated and never shows up when it matters. The number of opportunities he squandered today makes you wonder if the disgusting amount of money Barca spent on Ibra last summer was worth it. In the 79th minute, Tenerife got robbed of a goal when the referee mistakenly called Nino offside after sliding the ball into Barcelona's goal from a cross from the right. Quote Link to comment

This will keep him out of the final against Inter. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Real Madrid Beat Mallorca 4-1 Cristiano Ronaldo's hat trick propelled Real Madrid to an easy win and back to within 1 point of Barcelona. It was tied 1-1 going into halftime. Real Madrid missed many opportunities, as did Mallorca. But in the second half, Los Blancos came out with a vengeance. Gonzalo Higuain scored Madrid's 4th goal with his signature dink over the keeper's head who came out to challenge. I wonder why Pellegrini insists on starting Granero over Guti? On a side note, Marcelo did not play as he accumulated 2 yellow cards over the last 2 matches. Quote Link to comment
