Street Novelist
1-1 At Halftime In the 12th minute, Forlan struck one off the bottom right post. A defender was right in his face, but he should of made the shot. In the 32nd minute, Aguero's mis-shot landed right at the feet of Forlan, who managed to barely stay onside and put it past the keeper with 1 touch. In the 37th minute, Simon Davies volleys it past De Gea who received the cross which deflected off the head of a defender. Atletico have maintained possession the majority of the game and have to feel disappointed going into halftime without the lead. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
At the end of 90 minutes, the score remains 1-1. We're going to overtime! Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
In the 116th minute, Forlan scored the go ahead goal with another 1 touch, this one bouncing off a defender and into his own net. Forlan scores the decider as he did against Liverpool! Insanity at Hamburg as the Atletico fans are going crazy. Sergio Aguero with another beautiful pass. What a combination! Forlan and Aguero I thought for sure it was headed to penalty kicks. What a final! ATLETICO MADRID ARE EUROPA LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!! Quote Link to comment
