After undergoing an MRI scan in Madrid on Tuesday, the Spanish Football Federation has confirmed Torres suffered "a grade one muscle fibre rupture in the left thigh." Head of Sports Science and Medicine Peter Brukner told Liverpool's official website: "He had an MRI scan yesterday [Tuesday] which confirmed a small tear.
