Kansas is going to get BONED

Recommended Posts

So it looks like if all this conference expansion goes down. Kansas, among others, is going to get left out in the cold. Since the recent ticket scandal, is KU going on any sort of probation or anything? Because if they have 2 years of probation or what have you, and get demoted to a conference like MWC or CUSA, that's going to be a major blow to Kansas.

They've addressed the issue:

Press release just issued by Kansas:

The University of Kansas is proud to announce the following schools in Kansas have announced the formation

of the World's Largest Ball of Twine Conference.

The members will include Kansas, Kansas State, Benedictine College, Emporia State University, Wichita State University,

American Institute of Baking, Coffeyville Community College and Kansas Braille Transcription Institute.

The conference will be divided into eight 1-team divisions with the winners of 4 of the divisions entering

into a 1 game, 6 team playoff.

All ticket sales will be through The University of Kansas ticket office.

Texas may still keep the league together. I think the whole pac10 was an ego thing. They'll sit down and think this over and realize adding say boise to the north would still be the easiest track to the bcs game and their tv contract....at least for now...

Boise will not go to the North and why should they? They've owned their cream puff conference for a better part of a decade and have received recognition on the national stage the last few years. They won't give that up to play in a conference where the games will be twice as tough to win.
