GMoose
So it looks like if all this conference expansion goes down. Kansas, among others, is going to get left out in the cold. Since the recent ticket scandal, is KU going on any sort of probation or anything? Because if they have 2 years of probation or what have you, and get demoted to a conference like MWC or CUSA, that's going to be a major blow to Kansas. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
irafreak
The local radio was talking about the possibility of the michigan state bball coach leaving and making an offer to bill self if the conference gets blown up. Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
Wouldn't mind seeing them come with us if the Big 10 adds several, but doesn't seem likely so far. Quote Link to comment
sarge87
I feel for Turner Gill right now, poor guy. No kidding. He excepts a position at what was supposed to be a BCS school, and he may be no better off than if he stayed a Buffalo. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Texas may still keep the league together. I think the whole pac10 was an ego thing. They'll sit down and think this over and realize adding say boise to the north would still be the easiest track to the bcs game and their tv contract....at least for now... Quote Link to comment

Boise will not go to the North and why should they? They've owned their cream puff conference for a better part of a decade and have received recognition on the national stage the last few years. They won't give that up to play in a conference where the games will be twice as tough to win. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
They might for the right price. Plus a shot at a big12 championship.... Quote Link to comment
