The system can't tell the difference between a signed in user and a bot? Perhaps. i think the issue is more that we could have 40-50 members on at a time with no search flood control, and it might overload resources. But I don't know.

 

Just be thankful it's not 1500 seconds. I literally remember Huskerboard once having a search flood control of 30 minutes or so.

You may not be a bot, but the system has no way of distinguishing between a bot and a user. PM slacker and see what he can do. The worst he can do is say, "I can't change it."

 

NO!!!

 

The worse he could do is take away our search function for a year again.

 

Don't nobody piss him off!
