StreeterCL's Final Big12 season breakdown.

Recommended Posts

Please Don't Hate, I went REAL GUTSY this year. Some of it may LOOK irrational, but I just go with my gut, and thats what I do every year, and usually i'm not THAT far off, with a couple exceptions. :) enjoy FWIW

Big 12 North

1. Nebraska 11-1 (8-0)

2. Kasnas St 10-2 (6-2)

3. Missouri 9-3 (5-3)

4. Colorado 5-7 (3-5)

5. Iowa St 3-9 (1-7)

6. Kansas 2-10 (0-8) (felt bad, but I just don't feel the KU vibe at all, wish i could have a little more)

Big 12 South

1. Texas A&M 11-1 (7-1)

2. Oklahoma 11-1 (7-1)

3. Texas 8-4 (4-4)

4. Baylor 8-4 (4-4)

5. Texas Tech 5-7 (2-6)

6. Oklahoma St 5-7 (1-7) (This is the one I'm actually most confident about out of all 12 combined, weird huh?)

Any specific questions let me know, I have each teams schedule broken down. I just didn't want to do all that typing. sorry, its late.

Texas A&M isn't going to be 11-1. Texas won't lose 4 games, Baylor won't win 8 games, KU won't go 0-8 in confrence, Iowa State will win more than 3 games, and Kansas State won't win 10 games.

I don't mind bold predictions. But the only team we lose to being Washington is a little strange. Especially since you have aTm going 11-1...

I agree with #2.

While 11-1 ATM is possibly, in that scenario Texas wouldn't drop 4. ... I see Texas dropping 3 at the most, OU/NU/ATM.. Baylor won't win 8 unless they suddenly have 8 non conference opponents on their schedule.. And I see Iowa State winning their non conf games and picking up a win over Colorado and one other North team.

haha, I dunno, its tough to play at Washington. LSU struggled, They have the coaching there now. It is a long shot but I could see it happening. I mean really, I think we can be really really good. All championship teams have to win ugly, or some of them possibly lose a game they aren't suppose to. It happens every year. I hope its not us. :)

Oh forgot, Texas has KState on their schedule. KState has HAD UT's number....or maybe it was Freeman that had their number. who knows. like i said, I got real gutsy.

Yeah but on the same coin UT has had our number...

I think KSU could pull an upset against Texas.. their running offense should be good enough to do it. the problem is KSU's defense should be questionable at best.

One more thing

If there's ever a year that Texas finishes the regular season with the same record as Baylor we see Mack Brown pull a warden Norton :laughpound

It occurred regularly in the SWC. Texas wasn't particularly relevant until they joined the Big 12.

I’d love to see the B12 play out this way. Don’t think it will happen. But it would be entertaining as heck to watch. Especially the UT meltdown that 4 losses would cause.
