ADS
Egg Harbor Township High School graduate Tejay Johnson will not be playing football for Rutgers University this fall. The school released an updated roster today and Johnson's name was not on it. A release from the school stated that Johnson will be attending a prep school this year. The release did not say what prep school Johnson will be attending. Check back later for more updates on this story. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Johnson is The Press High School Male Athlete of the Year. A running back and defensive back, he led the Eagles to a Cape-Atlantic League American Conference championship and the South Jersey Group IV final in football last fall. Johnson started for the basketball team in the winter. This spring he won two individual South Jersey titles in track and field. EHT also finished undefeated in dual meets and won the CAL American Conference http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/sports/article_4783f5dc-9f1e-11df-a0ea-001cc4c002e0.html Quote Link to comment

papio2chi
I really liked him as a player...thought he could be the next Prince. Well, I hope he gets it together this year. Missing out on football b/c of grades is such a shame. Quote Link to comment
