JTrain
This is extremely rare. Three games in, Nebraska has THREE rushers in the top ten in yards/carry nationally (6.25 carry/game min.): RK PLAYER ATT YDS YDS/A LONG TD 1 LaMichael James, RB ORE 30 361 12.0 72 3 2 Taylor Martinez, QB NEB 40 421 10.5 80 8 3 Roy Helu Jr., RB NEB 24 246 10.3 65 4 4 Colin Kaepernick, QB NEV 39 369 9.5 57 7 5 DJ Harper, RB BSU 15 139 9.3 71 2 6 Chandler Harnish, QB NIU 32 295 9.2 47 2 7 Rex Burkhead, RB NEB 27 238 8.8 28 2 8 Edwin Baker, RB MSU 46 390 8.5 80 4 9 Allen Bradford, RB USC 23 193 8.4 56 1 10 LeVeon Bell, RB MSU 37 304 8.2 75 4 Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
You keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and Nebraska to have a bad day at the office. That's not going to happen next week, and watching Kansas State play Iowa State (the same team that got steamrolled by Iowa 35-6), I think we might have to wait for Texas to get more realistic-looking rushing stats. bleedNUred
Possibly the fastest backfield in the nation with a solid O-Line. Love it. Quote Link to comment

mmmtodd
not sure what its worth/means/whatever, but burkhead has by far the shortest "long" in that group. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
Rainey is up there in rushing yards as well I noticed. Quote Link to comment

Good point, without reading too much into it, I would think that it means Rex has been very consistant while the others have a long run that is somewhat skewing the stats. Rex has constitantly been running the ball well nothing skewing the stats Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Rex having the shortest long run is actually pretty impressive. Quote Link to comment
roundegotrip
That is really incredible. We look dominant in all three phases of the game. I am giddy. GIDDY. Quote Link to comment
