12thManFactor
I figured I'd start a new thread, since the other one is getting long. If any of you Huskers would like a tailgate to crash, feel free to crash mine. My group tailgates on the Southeast side of Reed Arena. If you were to hit a home run over the left field of the softball field and it landed in the grass at Reed Area, we are right there. If you'd like to set up next to us, that is cool too. You'll have to drop your stuff off in the grass and park in the parking garage across the street for $20. We are getting out there at 8 am, so anytime after is free game. We'll have a full wet bar with mixers, more than enough beer, cokes/water/gatorade for the non-drinkers, music, beer pong and lots of good food. If you'd like to get in touch with me, my email is alanlbass@gmail.com. I'm looking forward to seeing your fans one last time. I have nothing but positive experiences with Husker fans. Should be a very rowdy tailgating atmosphere on Saturday. I know campus officials are expecting upwards of 100K on campus Saturday. Safe travels! 1 Quote Link to comment
TexasAggies8
Here's hoping for a good game Saturday! Big Red fans are some of the classiest fans in college football and I'm going to miss having you guys in our conference. For anyone coming to College Station, hope you enjoy yourselves and be sure to hit up Northgate afterwards! Quote Link to comment

Big Red fans are some of the classiest fans in college football and I'm going to miss having you guys in our conference. For anyone coming to College Station, hope you enjoy yourselves and be sure to hit up Northgate afterwards! Have fun tailgating and here's to an injury free game. I'm sure you'll meet some good Husker fans and I'll apologize ahead of time if you do happen to meet a douche bag Husker fan ,lol. Most people that go to road games have been there before and know how to act. Your going to see a good Husker team that's ready to play. Nebraska is 8 and 0 in its last 8 big 12 road games. Texas A&M is hot and Tannehill scares me with that receiving core. Should be a good test for our secondary. Kyle field will no doubt be rocking. You might see a few penalties because of crowd noise but for the most part the Huskers handle it well. I think the key to this game will be Nebraska's defensive line verses A&M's offensive line. Whoever wins this battle, wins the game. Quote Link to comment

cornhuskers4ever
I'm really gonna miss Texas A and M. They are by far the greatest fans of the Texas schools of the Big XII South. Win or lose, it will all and on the field. aTm and the 12th Man will be loud, but it won't be full of classless fans like Colorado. Thanks for the memories. Its been a fun rivalry. Kyle field is the one place I have really wanted to see out of all the places in the big 12. We will be down there early ready to meet some great people and have some fun. GO BIG RED AND GIG'EM AGGIES. p.s What does gig'em mean? Quote Link to comment
12thManFactor
Stop on by UM Husker... We're going to miss you playing you guys. Gig'em started way back in the day when we were playing TCU. Someone said Gig the Frogs, and Gig'em stuck. Quote Link to comment

GO BIG RED AND GIG'EM AGGIES. p.s What does gig'em mean? Gig 'em comes from the sport of frog gigging. It started back in the SWC when we played TCU every year. We would say gig 'em like you were going to gig a frog. The thumbs up is actually how you hold a frog gig. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigging http://aggietraditions.tamu.edu/symbols/gigem.html Quote Link to comment

UM-HUSKER
Thanks for the answers to my question. I have heard the term of gig'en frogs. That is kind of like how the blackshirts got started, it went from a minor deal and turned into a national thing that has been and will continue to be apart of the school. Goood luck Sat. and am looking foward to a great game and a great time!!! Quote Link to comment
