Classsic example, We are in Section 18 and it is like a mourge. All the Blue hairs are against standing and cheering. I about got into a fight last year for standing. Glad I didn't get kicked out by the popo.

Been on 12 hour nights for 5 years this shot and 7 years on a rotating shift 7-7 and I love it. Took the wife the longest time to figure out that when I get home at 7:30 am and pour a stiff drink. She was convinced I was a drunk. Then she would call at 11, 1 2 oclock to see what I was up to. my Reply was "sleeping". This went on for about a week when I started. Then one night at 2:30 am I called her and asked her what she was doing? Her REply was "what the hell do you think I am doing?" my reply to that was "how do you like it when your sleeping?" I just wanted to call and see what you were up to. When I got home in the morning I got an apology from her and she realized that at 2 in the afternoon is like 2 in the morning to me.

Its funny how some teams forget stuff so fast. Just waiting for the Mizz fans to whine about the no facemask call against Crick and we can't forget about the no call that happened on Crouch.

Gabbert ran for 16 on second down. On intentional grounding, unlike other penalties, you don't get to replay the down. On other penalties the penalized team gets to redo the down. Had there been holding on that play it would have been 1st and 20 at the ten. Instead, it was 2nd and 17 at the 13, where Gabbert threw the ball. Intentional grounding is essentially a sack. You get the down plus the yardage. The next play was 2nd and 17 and Gabbert ran for 16 yards. On third and one, Moore ran for the first down. Nothing out of the ordinary. Intentional grounding is basically just a sack. They do not get to replay the down and the ball is placed where the QB threw it. Now it makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Sorry to ask an officiating question but I was wondering about in the 3rd quarter around 6:20 mark. Blabbert is called for Grounding/ Ileagal pass. that was first and 10.= loss of Down. shouldn;t it of been 3rd and 17 from the Mizz 13 yard line? The brain box announcers called it second down. Then blabbert goes for 16. should of made it 4th and 1. Just curious as to what the true ruling was?

These two guys are a couple of tools. I particularly liked the reference to the White Shirt Defence by "Richie Cunningham". These two were really biased against Nebraska. +1 I thought Bo handled the presser quite well. Everyone in the room knew we played like crap, and was waiting for the volcano Bo to erupt. But he didn’t. I especially liked his little one-liner about if the Huskers would get time off during the bye week: “I don’t want to talk about that right now. We should be pretty fresh, we had a day off today.” Best Line from that interview. I bet Practice for the next week is gonna be a burner.

Called mine in due to no phone line. in Years past it has been a biotch calling in ahead of time but this AM got up early to get pregame festivities started.
