holvy83
he must have skipped the comMANdment "thou shall not have a wedding during football season" Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
If he's a Nebraskan he should know better. There is Husker football, and then there's trivial crap like marriage. You should tell him to get his priorities checked. Quote Link to comment
dave
I'll hop in on this one with an unpopular opinion. Go to the wedding. Weddings happen ONCE. You can DVR the game and enjoy it just as much - other than you'll probably know who won by then, which can be a spoiler. I got married on a game day and was pretty annoyed that some of my "friends" didn't bother coming to my wedding. Granted, it was OK State at Arrowhead in 1998 and not the last Big 12 Championship game that Nebraska will ever be in, possibly the last game against Oklahoma in the forseeable future ..... Hmm....watch the game. You can watch the wedding on DVD afterwards. No...wait....go to the wedding. Bah....you make the call. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Why would you ever marry during a Husker game? If they lose your whole night is wrecked and your everlasting memory of your wedding would be tarnished... Quote Link to comment
Lenberg
There is a better chance your cousin will marry again, than the Huskers playing the Sooners in the Big XII Championship again. Watch the game, then show up to the reception at 10:30 and pick up a drunk bridesmaid. Quote Link to comment

John BarleyCorn
Yes, it's a wedding, they only happen once. But, what are the odds of it working out, you should tell him, "I'll watch the game, and I'll be at your next wedding if it doesn't work out." Quote Link to comment

Chuck_G_23
My sister in law got married last year the day of the TT game, the reception had a small TV in the back room with the game on, no one danced, everyone got smashed after the game, a fight broke out, and one of the groomsmen took all his clothes off...moral of the story, DONT GET MARRIED ON A FU%*ING GAME DAY!
