With Tom gone, is this what our New AD will accept for his football program? Have a feeling a poor performance in the bowl game might have Bo evaluate where his team is heading. Doom and gloom aside I feel these kids will do their best and give UGA a game after what they went thru Sat nite.

I'm sorry, but they played well on the most important game, but I disagree. You hand out the shirts, kids come back proud. I am not going to go as far as to say the D's performance at NW was "great", I am not against them having them now, but have they really "earned" them? As far as being proud, this was a big win, a practice shirt should not make a difference. I thought I read somewhere that the players declined the blackshirts after last week, so if they feel they have earned them I hope they keep it up.

Bye weeks apparently do not help Neb prefers to love having a - turnover margin Beck forgets he has Cross and Marrow for 3rd and Short Jamal Turner still does not get the ball enough Talor runs like a girl until he sees an opening And my biggest gripe is special teams, the fumbles suck of course, but this unit needs some serious work... Other than that very happy they pulled it off, if anything this brings some momentum back home, still think this team is pretty awesome IF they can put it together for 4 qtrs.

I have read that some companies are sending out letters to employees basically spelling out why you the employee need to vote for Romney or wind up losing your job under the Obama Adminstration... What would you think if you got one of those letters from your employer? Is this a scare tactic? the last thing I want is my employer trying to tell me how and who to vote for.

not sure on the budget thing, but I guess I do not see Nebraska as a place where unproven assistants get coordinator jobs to cut their teeth on... although the kool-aid hangover in me would like to think schools would be crashing down the doors to get their hands on these guys in the future....

IF it does come time for a coaching change I vote for someone who doesn't give his buddies jobs and promotes newbies to coordinator positions. I am not against these guys but Bo dropped the ball on getting some people in there with more expierence.

He got the players here and ran a good offense. If he had kept Bo as DC he might still be here. hard to swallow but possible....

It has always been my opinion that the coaches know way more than message board advisers, but the advise above wins the game against UCLA. If we could do #5 only, we would have won that game It looked like a bunch of guys who wanted nothing to do with HITTING ANYONE!!!!

What makes me sick is that bad stuff happens on college campuses, rapes, assults, drugs etc... and if reported to the universtiy they are all over it, but when it is KIDS they try to hide it???? Penn St. as an institution should always carry the burden of this tragedy, but I dont feel that giving the football program the death penalty should be a part of the healing process, let the other 99% of Penn St students, staff and alumni that had nothing to do with this start the healing process.
