N Bug
I am approximating 100 people from my Nebraska town of 5,600 are going to the game in Dallas. This represents 1.79% of the population. Carry this forward to the entire state. That puts the Nebraska travel squad at 32,220. Throw in the Texans for Nebraska, and other Midwest alumni… I think it is foreseeable to have over 40,000 Real Big Red fans in attendance. This is obviously unscientific, but I think a somewhat educated guess. I cannot remember an away game where I know of so many people going with the exception of the 1996 Fiesta Bowl. HuskerBCS
I hope we can get more fans there than we had last year. It was easily 75% Texas fans, 20% Husker fans, 5% TCU fans. This wasn't really Husker fans fault more so that we didn't have a chance to get more tickets. I foresee more Dallas Cowboy season ticket holders selling their tickets since Texas isn't playing this year. Quote Link to comment
Dan_F_30
Are you from Holdrege? Quote Link to comment
ESPY
Are you from Holdrege? I was wondering the same thing. I have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all over Holdrege...and Loomis. 5600 seems to be awfully close to the town's population. What say you, N Bug? Quote Link to comment
