KansasHusker
does Taylor get it for the offense this week in the big 12? he has my vote... Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
Him or Ross, definately. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Moore could also be considered for defense. Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
Moore could also be considered for defense. Heck, the whole D-line deserves it. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan66
Add the linebackers in there too, made a lot of plays out there today. Secondary, not so much applause for them. I would like to see some more pressure and attacking rather than "prevent the big one" all night... Quote Link to comment
husker_jeff
Heck you gotta give it to Ross. He was our only offense for three games, and then he steps up and gives Taylors passing game a solid target in this game. He deserves anything given to him this week. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
Actually, it was kind of funny. Whenever Ross lined up offset in the ace formation, you knew he was going to run that half back angle play, and he did, and every time he cought a ten to twenty yard pass. That move he put on that Iowa State defender on the big touchdown catch was just sick. I have never seen a guy so confused that he decided to sit on his ass and watch the runner fly by. Yes I was telling my wife to watch Ross and how he just juked that guy out of his Jock! Someone HAS to have a picture of that ISU kid sitting on his butt as Ross goes flying by! Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
and finally, we started passing to the back coming out......that play was long overdue and welcome to see Ross utilized more in the passing game hunter Quote Link to comment

The funniest part was in the second overtime when NU had the ball. The announcers just finished talking about Ross being double and triple teamed from that offset position. Very next play he takes it in 15 yards for a TD, and nobody from ISU even knew he had the ball Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
it is really fun to watch ross in the open field as we did on that 70 yard pass to him... Quote Link to comment
BigRedJake
Gotta love a dual threat like Ross has become. I'd say he was a mini-Westbrook, but I'm afraid he might be taller. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
did anyone else watch ESPN last night really late, and see the "helmet stickers" section of it before they went on to sportscenter? well if not, a husker helmet was brought up and a sticker was placed on it...all the players that had great games... big poppa
Caught the helmet sticker this morning on the GD replay...Huskers getting positive recognition from ESPN...it is snowing in hell????? Great game by Taylor and it was well deserved...could have given one to Ross as well. GBR Quote Link to comment

That just about makes up for the gaff with the non-updating win. Quote Link to comment
