NU Assistant Tracy Webster expected to leave for Tennessee

In a dream world Doc would be able to replace Tracy with a coach with strong AAU ties. Never will happen under TO's helm, but it would probably help a ton. Too bad. I know this sentiment is shared by at least one other guy on this board. Backer, what say you?

I'll say one thing: Doc might be allowed to hire that guy... he just wouldn't be allowed to use those ties to the full advantage.

I don't have any idea who Doc will look at, but I'm guessing you'll see someone come from an area like Chicago, Detroit, Indy. Somewhere in B10 country.

I look at the coaches who have the most NC's of all time;

John Wooden. Nuff said.

Coach K. -- Clean program

Adolph Rupp -- Racist

Bob Knight -- Clean Program

Jim Calhoun -- Violation - Sits out 3 conference games.

AAU basketball seems to wallow in coruption.

I have to stand with TO but Doc still has to go.

3 of these 5 are from the pre-AAU era. 1 of the 2 from the AAU era has been caught, the other is at the most prestigous basketball school in the nation.

Bingo, and if you watch the UNLV show on HBO that just came out, Tark talks about recruiting against Wooden and UCLA. Wasn't exactly the easiest thing "competing" against the Bruins for kids. I am a huge Bruin fan and this was very interesting, but not totally shocking, it goes on in every program and has for years.
