Pelini on April 6 signed a revised contract that pushes his total Nebraska compensation to $2.775 million for 2011. Annual raises of $100,000 already are scheduled that will take his salary to $3.175 million by 2015 — making him the first $3 million coach in university history. Very true, but at least with this we can't say that lack of money was a factor. But you know i wonder if more is being swept under the rug though.
