epocSoN
I'm good friends with his sister. He's a really nice guy, I know nothing about his political background though. Link to comment
HotGrillonGrillAction
Yea - he is a super nice guy. I've known him for years...mainly through my wife who graduated with him and through my old "band" days. My band played with his several times back in "the day". Politics are new to him I believe...but I think he'd do OK with some seasoning. We'll see! Link to comment
bhamHusker
Nothing personal against the guy, but I'd be happy to see his political aspirations crushed. The country has quite enough right-wingers dragging us down already. Link to comment
CornHOLIO
Is there really any such thing as right or left wingers' ability to sway our country? It's all contrived by the "powers that be" to throw us off. One of the more probable reasons for Kennedy’s assassination was his intention to eliminate the Federal Reserve. Link to comment

If you look at some history, then yes a 'wing or fringe' group can sway the country. The perfect case in point is Prohibition. Clearly not something supported by the majority of the people, but a very highly motivated wing was very organized and forced a nut case agenda through. Link to comment
