The guy may not of hit .300, or .275 for that matter, but was great with his bat control in hit and run situations as well as sac bunting. On top of that the guy was a rock behind the dish. Started 60+ games during the glory run, and threw out most runners that attempted to steal on him his whole career at NU. Erstad gets a big one of there for the hire Quote Link to comment
