SEC vs Big 10

Big 10 leads the all time series head to head 91-90-6. This doesn't include Nebraska's 17-5 against the SEC.

But what are we looking at as far as the last 10 years go?

16-17. This is bowl games only, not head to head matchups period.

Damn - it could take us an entire day to make up that deficit...

Yes, especially with 3 bowl games vs SEC and as I stated before, adding a top team in Nebraksa will help with depth and Bowl alignments against the SEC.

CFDW counts games from all Big 10 teams and SEC teams even if they were not conference memebers. For example Penn State when they still an independent and some current SEC teams before they were in the SEC.

This link shows games only between Big 10 and SEC teams while they were in those conferences. If you click on the Trivia icon it will take you to the home page and you can look up an amazing amount ot stats once you figure it out.

Using the above link and only counting records of current Big 10 (minus Nebraska) and SEC teams when they were actually in those conferences, it lists the SEC leading 69-50-2. That does not include Georgia Tech and Tulane who at one time were in the SEC, or Arkansas while in the Southwest or Chicago before they left the big 10. The SEC evolved out of the Southern Conference which had a bunch of teams in the early years of football
