jsneb83
Per Sean Callahan: "Fresno said in a statement the athletes involved in the welfare scam have been punished, but will not comment any further than that." Punished, meaing they will be suspended for next week's game. Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
I was thinking more like running some stairs. Isn't that what internal punishment means? Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
The point I was trying to make was that they will still be playing today. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Apparently, after reading the full article, they also paid off women who filed sexual harrassment charges against the school, stemming from players' actions. But that will also be brushed under the rug, right Colorado? Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
the NCAA is a joke. the osu thing might have been bad judgment (i don't think it was that bad, i mean it is their property, they should be free to do with it as they please) and then fresno state commits an actually crime. also, why did meyer never get in trouble for all the criminals on his squad? illegal acts are infinitely more egregious than getting tattoos. i mean, it's not like the tattoos gave the players an on field advantage and, as i said before, it was their lawful property.
