NUance
Relatives Accused in Witchcraft Killing By Timon Woodward | ABC News – 17 hrs ago Relatives who suspected a British teenager of practicing witchcraft beat and drowned him Christmas Day 2010 as he "begged to die" because of the pain they were inflicting, prosecutors alleged in a London court. Kristy Bamu, a 15-year-old boy from Newham, east London, allegedly died at the hands of Eric Bikubi and his partner, Magalie Bamu, Kristy's sister. Both of them have denied the charges. Bikubi and Bamu allegedly forced Kristy's four siblings to join in the attack. The alleged attackers hit the teen with sticks, metal bars, a hammer and chisel, prosecutors said, and he "begged to die" because of the pain from the beating. LINK What the heck were those Brits thinking about beating that kid with metal bars and a hammer?? Everybody knows you need to use a dunking stool to detect a witch. Seriously, it's hard to believe what some people will do these days. Quote Link to comment
Muck
My first guess would be that these are first generation immigrants from Africa...where killing "witches" is still shockingly common. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, that makes sense. I mean that Eric Bikubi and Magalie Bamu are from Africa. Not that their 15 year old brother is a witch. Quote Link to comment
NUance
If only Monte Python aired more often in Africa we would not have this whole problem with the false detection of witches. Quote Link to comment
