huKSer
Again a pretty pathetic slate of non-conference games for CFB. CFB is the best but let's make it better by taking scheduling out of the hands of the AD's and have it controlled by some governing-body. Nobody wants to see these 2-4 exhibition games at the beginning of each year. Why not have a system like: - 1 cream puff of your choice - 3 games vs other BCS conferences (one has to be an away game) - 8 conference games TO did this one better - 1 cream puff of your choice - 2 games vs middlin' teams other BCS conferences - 1 game against a traditional power (away game every other year) - 7 conference games Quote Link to comment
NU5XChamps
It is real simple. If we struggle AT ALL against Idaho State, we are in for a LONG season!!! That game should be like a throw back game in the 90's 70-0!! Quote Link to comment

Personally, I don't think the answer is taking autonomy away from the schools, but to provide an incentive for playing big games. Right now, the risk of playing a game against a non-conference opponent that has a chance of beating you is much higher than the benefit of a win. If strength of schedule were a meaningful stat it would go a long way to encouraging better matchups. Quote Link to comment
