carlfense
Yikes. Eyeless shrimp. Sores and lesions on fish. Mutated crabs. Etc. http://www.aljazeera...2318260912.html (Edit: I think this is the first full story I've read from Al-Jazeera. Well written. Solidly sourced. I'm impressed.) Link to comment
knapplc
Al-Jazeera is a decent source. They pissed me off early by being what amounted to a bash-America source, but they've since rounded into decent journalism. As for the BP aftermath - yeah. How much did they recompense the fishermen, again? It wasn't enough, that's for damned sure. Link to comment

If they continue to produce articles like this that are well-sourced, appear to possess integrity, and are outside of the status quo, they'll make a (positive) name for themselves here in spite of the vitriol directed against them.
