Undone
Anyone else think it's hilarious that an unranked, 5 loss team might end up in a freaking BCS bowl? It's almost as hilarious as some players getting caught selling their jerseys to a tattoo parlor that was unwittingly already under investigation by the FBI. Quote Link to comment
okaive
Why are we always right below mobilehoma? It might be because we barely won to a team that isn't even playing in a bowl game this year to where they barely won to a team that was ranked. Quote Link to comment
HuskerinHouston
I am going out on a limb but I think Kent State has a decent shot at making a BCS game. They need to get to #14 to have that shot and are sitting at #17 now. UCLA is in front of them along with Stanford. I assume a UCLA loss thus all they need is two more dominoes to fall. HuskerinHouston
I was wrong, they only need to jump one spot! toss those BCS predictions aside, with a Kent State win and a UCLA loss (as i predict above) they play in the Orange bowl. This would eliminate Oregon or Florida from the BCS picture. If the MAC champ finishes in the top 16 of the final BCS standings and is ranked ahead of the champion of an AQ league (the Big East), it would be an automatic selection under BCS rules. Thankfully, the Rose will be a pac 12 - big 10 game and we wont be affected! Quote Link to comment
