RyouN?
Man is that depressing. Compare it to Saban, Stoops, Meyer, and Tressel!!! Saban's first five years as a coach (just the "big losses"): 1995 - Lost by 40 to NU, Lost by 14 to Iowa, Lost by 31 to Michigan St., Lost by 19 to LSU 1996 - Lost by 41 to NU, Lost by 10 to Louisville, Lost by 16 to Michigan, Lost by 38 to Stanford 1997 - Lost by 16 to Michigan, Lost by 24 to tOSU, Lost by 28 to Washington 1998 - Lost by 34 to Oregon, Lost by 12 to Michigan, Lost by 23 to Penn St. 1999 - Lost by 24 to Purdue, Lost by 30 to Wisconsin, Lost by 24 to Ohio St. So that's 3.4 big losses per year and 2.2 blowouts per year. Makes Callahan look not so bad. He also coached for Michigan State, a place acceptable for experimentation. When he went to a real program he began to bloom. Good coaches when matched up with the right program will be successful rather quickly. Bo doesn't seem to be a good match and this is not a place where experimentation should have been allowed, he might be successful elsewhere, but not here. Bo's trend has went from competing with equal or better talent, to only being able to compete with those with lesser talent and being blown out by everyone else. From fundamentally sound to no fundamentals at all. It's the regression that people care about. Right now we are only playing luck of the draw with our opponents. Luckily most of our opponents this year are less talented then us, which means we should be able to at least compete with them except for Michigan. We should all befriend Hoke right now, so they will take it easy on us in Ann Arbor. Quote Link to comment

Scratchtown
Think of the time though. Frank succeeded on Osbornes recruits Callahan got fired when Solich's last class were seniors. Pelini did quite well with Callahans recruits. (I would say) Quote Link to comment
NebraskaShellback
BO has us on the right track. everybody needs to stop being so thin skinned. I'm sure we all have said things in private we wouldn't want leaked out.the football team is in a much betterplace than it was when he got the job. KEEP BO he is a good coach. It seams the tides had changed on this board after the last game and more fuel on the fire with this f*cking audio. And other boards it seems. My take, I support Bo 100%, I take him as is.
