husker_fan_from_sweden
Anyone knows that how many stars a guy coming out of high school or judo has, doesn't foretell what he makes of himself. Take this years first overall pick Eric Fisher from central michigan. A two star athlete watched game film on every guy he faced to gain an edge. I really have a good feeling about our guys bo and co. brought in this year. Joe keels and Clink are gonna make a lot of noise early and often while Darius slade and Peyton Newell are gonna blossom into their own down the road. Good defense starts up front, Suh took over games and almost took us to the promised land in the big 12. Add these guys to what we already have and, (knocks on wood), if we stay healthy we've got guys who are gonna draw double teams more than any other big ten team. Quote Link to comment
NU5XChamps
They strengthen what was already going to be a solid line. This year we seen what might be, if they can get out of there own way. We need to remove the leash and let these boys do what they do. QB graveyard will be increasing again next year. Quote Link to comment
blarson3
Completely agree. We already had a very promising line and this class is adding to it. Nothing against Thad Randle, but having Clink (another Valentine sized monster) up front is going to improve our run defense almost immediately as those two almost demand a double team due to their size, freeing up our line backers to make plays (assuming Clink contributes as expected). The biggest issue last year was that offenses were able to get blockers out on our linebackers as their linemen could handle Randle up front one on one. Quote Link to comment

You have to wonder what kind of dividends that may pay for our young LB's knowing they had to learn to shed blocks because our Dline wasn't as formidable. Hopefully it will make the game much easier for them. Now that we have a more experienced and what appears stronger/faster D line I can only hope our LB's have a huge year next year.
