Comish
Although still savoring this break-through year, I got to thinking about the expanded conference schedule for the future. Still miffed about the weirdness of having 3 of our 4 closest geographic foes be only single-gamers (Minny, Iowa, Wisky) and how that stifles not only rivalries but travel, I wonder if that will be a consideration in the future? With the addition of Maryland and Rutgers and the football divisions going to East and West, wouldn't the obvious solution be to play each of your 6 division opponents home and home and each of the other division teams once? That would give you 12 + 7 (19) conference games without any built-in bias, and yet still keep the conference schedule manageable. Anyone know if that has been discussed/decided/ or mulled upon by the scheduling wizards in the bowels of the B!G offices? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Sounds to me like that makes too much sense. Thus, no chance. Quote Link to comment
