Hooked on Huskers
Always had a pet peeve with electric bills in summer season, in particular A/C hog . State-by-State 2011 rates Nebraska was 4th lowest rate, 8 cents/kwh. The lowest, North Dakota. Oklahoma (me) was 7th, 8.3 cents/kwh. I'm surprised Texass was an average state-by-state comparison. New England states plus NY and California was approximately twice the rate compared to Nebraska. Hawaii spinning meter, 31 cents/kwh . Other countries? France (80% Nuclear power). 19 cents/kwh Canada, roughly the same as U.S. (average) Russia, slightly lower than U.S. UPDATE: see 2014 rates Quote Link to comment
