jaws
As soon as I read Marin County Cali, I was not surprised. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Apparently people got bored of suing for fingers in their food or their coffee being too hot. Quote Link to comment
broganreynik
Well, this may seem ridiculous, but I just had a situation where this came up. Logic would dictate that a 2" x 4" would be 2" x 4". We ended up having spaces in the seat of our chair, but it didn't ruin the project at all. First time "carpenter", learned the lesson. Looked it up and I know why they're not 2"x4", but why don't they just make the rough cut 2.5" x 4.5"? It's fair that someone would assume something would be as named. 1 Quote Link to comment

The actual dimensions just become second nature after a while. You won't really think about it. haha. Quote Link to comment
