Gov Scott Walker

Good chance Walker throws his hat in the ring. He is one of several that I would take a hard look at in the primaries.

This poster after the article came up with these reasons he is supporting a Walker candidacy

nhein curt 8 minutes ago

first of all he is NOT near 70+ like most of the candidates the Democrats are offering up. That is a HUGE plus -- we should have a maximum mandatory 65 limit on congress and the president.

Second he has survived 3 elections in 4 years!

In 2011, Wisconsin had a whopping deficit of $3.6 billion dollars. But a cooperate tax cut and collective bargaining reforms invigorated the state economy. Now, the state is boasting a $911 million surplus, credited to “good stewardship of the taxpayers’ money.” “What do you do with a surplus? Give it back to the people who earned it. It's your money,"Walker said.

He pledged to help the people of Wisconsin create 10,000 new businesses by 2015. He exceeded that goal with nearly 13,000 new businesses created so far.

Reforms:

-Passed a state budget on time, without tax increases, that leaves Wisconsin in the black for the first time in over a decade:

-Turned a $3 billion deficit into a $300 million surplus(i have seen as much as 900 million in surplus and the plan is to give it back to the people in tax cuts :)

-Instituted the first permanent property tax cap in our state’s history

-Cut bonding (state borrowing) by nearly 20 percent

-Cut more than 1,000 government jobs, including 735 long-term vacancies

-Enacted sweeping business tax reforms that will save Wisconsin’s job creators over $130 million a year when fully implemented.

-Protected our votes by requiring a picture I.D at the polls

-Repealed in-state tuition for Illegal Immigrants

-Expanded school choice

-Paid back the $200 million from Gov Doyle's unconstitutional raid of the Patients Compensation Fund

-Passed the Castle Doctrine that expands protections for homeowners

-Passed Concealed Carry

LOL.....

So, the public is outraged and demand laws be put in place protecting against age discrimination in the private work place....but, now it's ok to discriminate against age in public office.

Priceless.

That's the big thing that matters, although I would not say he survived 3 elections, he won two elections and survived a recall all in a purple state that is closer to blue then red. If he can do that then the question is can he also take it again along with Ohio and Florida in 2016? If he takes the red states and those three purples, he is in.

Correct - that poster must have been a young person who didn't know he would have disqualified the best president since FDR. Should not be age discrimination. That poster was targeting Hillary and Biden and Brown for sure.

Reagan isn't so bad . . . but if you really want a good laugh you should watch the reactions when someone explains what Reagan actually did to modern conservatives.

Also. King Obama? Really?
